Our Philosophy
We believe each child is a unique and precious gift
to be received and nurtured
moment by moment, day by day.
We believe that each child is uniquely gifted
and take great joy in allowing these gifts to unfold
according to the child’s own timetable.
We believe that children are best able to
discover and develop these gifts through self-directed play
that is carefully observed, nurtured, and extended
by skillful, loving teachers.
Our commitment to serving children
also compels us to serve families,
helping them lay a foundation
for a lifetime of love and learning.
We believe that our most important work
is to build relationships with children and their families
and that these relationships will have life-long benefits.
We pledge to receive each child and family
where they are each day,
enfolding them in a circle of support
and growing with them toward a better future.
